As we enter into the big '09, here are some of my thoughts and things going on in our lives--
-Levi scored a 170 on the LSAT. For those of you who arent sure what that means, Levi is in the 98% in the nation. We were hoping for a higher score, but thats life, isnt it? Always hoping for something better, even when we have it great! With that said, we have been looking at some schools in California, the U, of course, possibly BYU (can ANYONE picture my husband as a Zoobie?!), and a few others. Its nice to have a glimpse into our future, but we still just dont know where we are going.
-We are so blessed. We had someone finally move into the apartment next to us, and I must say, it was a little wierd. They moved in about 5 boxes of things. Seriously. Thats pretty much it. Levi and I are so spoiled its scary. A complete bedroom set, nice dishes, couch and loveseat, big screen tv....the list goes on. Not to mention a job, a bachelor degree, impressive grad school offerings, and money in savings. I forget about a lot of this stuff, and sometimes look at it as bad instead of good. Why do we do that?! (I mean like having to work, to go to school, etc.)
-On the other end of that, Levi and I have been sick a lot since we got married. I have been sick more in the last 6 months than I have in the last 4 years! I think being in a basement apartment may have something to do with it, but it makes me want to do everything I can to keep us healthy! I say that as I am missing work due to a kidney infection. yeah. it sucks big time.
-Christmas was great. We were able to spend that whole week going back and forth between our families, which meant a lot of driving, but good fun to be had by all. Jack was adorable. He tried to open presents, but got tired of tearing paper in a hurry. I guess you cant expect much when he is only 5 months old :)
- Anywho, thanks to the friends I have. I know that I only keep in touch with most of you through these blogs, but I thank you for being interested in my life. I wish all of you the best in the coming year. Jacey, thank you for all the phone calls. I'm determined to do better and be the one to call YOU! It will be fun to see what the new year brings. Hugs to all!!
